For over 50 years the Vista Fleet has been host to hundreds of school groups. Every year students of all ages experience the majesty of Lake Superior and learn about Duluth’s history.

Take in all the activity and spectacular scenery in the hard working Duluth and Superior Harbor. Our sightseeing tours are not to be missed! Our crew will provide a fun and unique experience to all passengers when sailing aboard a Vista Fleet vessel. Learn about the Harbor, Duluth’s history, the science and ecology of Lake Superior and enjoy the panoramic views of the North Shore and the largest freshwater lake in North America. This cruise is fully narrated. Home school groups welcome! Minimum of 10 people for discounted rates.

Preschool – 8th Grade Students: $10 (Spring/Fall)

1 complimentary teacher per 10 students. Bus driver is also complimentary. Each additional chaperone is $18/person.

Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to departure.

Learn the history and experience the Great Lakes with lift bridges, lakers and more! Explore the historic William A. Irvin with a self-guided tour then hop aboard the Vista Fleet for an educational narrated harbor tour.

*Please note, the William A. Irvin is not wheelchair accessible.

Schedule: Sightseeing Cruises are available daily. Cruises are 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. Please call for availability. Guided tours of the William A. Irvin may take place at any time during business hours based on availability. Arrival times will be scheduled upon making reservations.
