Welcome to our newest catering partner; MidCoast Catering
While planning for our upcoming 2021 season, one thing was for certain; during this unprecedented time, we needed to continue to be innovative and flexible with our services and offerings. Enter Jonathan Reznick. Jonathan is the owner and mastermind behind The Rambler food truck and MidCoast Catering based out of Duluth, Minnesota. He specializes in curating unique and memorable cuisine by combining the refined food culture of the East Coast with the experimental spirit of the West. Jonathan opened the Rambler food truck in Duluth in 2012 and it quickly became a local favorite. After many requests for catering services during the food truck off-season, he decided to open MidCoast Catering.
We at Vista have been having a blast working with him to design NEW menu offerings for some of our unforgettable dining cruises this season! MidCoast Catering will now be catering our Bluegrass & BBQ Cruise, Fourth of July Fireworks Cruise, and Lunch and Leaves.
Bluegrass & BBQ Menu
Here’s a little taste of what we’ve cooked up for our Bluegrass & BBQ Wednesday evening cruises: Porketta with Brown Ale Mustard and Homemade Pickles, Teriyaki Chicken Breast with Pineapple and Swiss Cheese, Elote, Potato Salad, Chips, and a Seasonal Salad. Weather permitting, on Wednesday’s through August, you can catch the long-standing tradition of the sailboat races on the great Lake Superior as a bonus!
$10 Tuesdays with The Rambler
We just could not work with Jonathan and NOT somehow incorporate The Rambler into our season plans. So, we have established $10 Tuesdays with The Rambler! Every Tuesday this season The Rambler will be parked along our dock serving up their mouth-watering grub. Their ever-changing menu features things like Shrimp Po’ Boys, Bacon Wrapped Slaw Dogs, Falafels, Reuben Fritters, and more! Grab some lunch and then hop on a sightseeing tour for only $10! Our fully stocked bar on board will be featuring midday drink specials, while the tour provides endless sights of the picturesque Duluth Superior Harbor. Tickets WILL sell out for these days, so we highly recommend reserving them online in advance.
